Most IT service desks were built to minimize ticket queues—not to create enterprise value. Mid-market CIOs and COOs are squeezed from all sides: ticket volumes keep rising, CX is deteriorating, and risk obligations expand with every new regulation and breach headline. Many teams are running AI pilots, but most of those efforts stall at copilots that answer questions rather than agents that safely take action in production systems.
